Product Engineer, Video Apps

Job Description

As a Product Engineer of Video Apps, you will be responsible for building fundamental product features in video editors, primarily for human creators, while also considering foundational APIs or SDKs for human-AI collaborative use. You will design intuitive and powerful user interfaces and experiences, transforming cutting-edge AI technologies into practical creative tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement core product features for video editors
• Build foundational APIs and SDKs that support human-AI collaboration
• Develop intuitive and user-friendly video editing interfaces
• Optimize video processing performance and user experience
• Integrate AI capabilities into traditional video editing workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline (STEM, humanities, arts, law, management, etc. are all welcome)
• Proficient in using any AI coding agent such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Augment for product prototyping
• Practical experience with video post-production software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro X, CapCut, Vegas Pro, etc.
• Experience with vibe coding for rapid prototyping is preferred
• Self-driven with stronger initiative than 80% of peers; highly hands-on and practical
• Enjoy helping and supporting team members
• Strong curiosity to explore new technologies and experiment with new products, coupled with a willingness to share insights
• Comfortable expressing genuine ideas openly and avoids overthinking
